Anaitz Goia is responsible for Strategy, Innovation and Development of new business and digital transformation at Fagor Multimedia Solutions. We spoke with him about the challenges of the company -currently in the midst of an integration process following Fagor Electrónica's acquisition of Triax Digital Solutions last March- and the evolution of its sector, marked by the adoption of new standards, security and the growing demand for enhanced and immersive experiences. Also on how the new company aims to be a key player in the hospitality sector, one of its markets with the greatest potential.

With the creation of Fagor Multimedia Solutions you have gone from being Global Head of Technology at Triax, to head of Strategy, Innovation and Development of new business and digital transformation Fagor Multimedia Solutions, what challenge does this new journey represent for you?
This new stage is a very interesting challenge because, while in Triax I had a global technological responsibility, in Fagor Multimedia Solutions being very close to the technological decisions the approach is broader, covering strategy, innovation and new business development. In addition, leading the digital transformation in a company with the background and projection of Fagor Multimedia Solutions is a great opportunity to redefine our offer, adapting it to the new challenges and opportunities of the market. The key lies in the integration of capabilities and resources, both technological and human, to generate synergies that enhance the value we offer to the market.

What plus does Fagor Multimedia Solutions bring to the market with the addition of Fagor Electronics and Triax Digital Solutions separately could not, or was it more complicated?
The union of Fagor Electrónica and Triax Digital Solutions has allowed us to create a more complete offer with greater added value. Both companies, separately, had important strengths but with limitations in specialization and scope. Now, as Fagor Multimedia Solutions, we combine our capabilities in technological infrastructure, connectivity and multimedia and this allows us to offer more comprehensive solutions, adapted to current market demands. In addition, this integration allows us to scale faster and be more competitive in innovation and customization. Belonging to a group like FAGOR and the MONDRAGON Corporation also gives us a significant advantage in terms of presence, knowledge, market and global reach.

Tell us about the aims you set for your area for the integration stage and in the medium term.
During the integration stage, our main objective is to convert the synergies between Fagor Electronics and Triax Digital Solutions into a solid, coherent and high value solutions offer for our customers. In the medium term, we seek to consolidate Fagor Multimedia Solutions as a European benchmark in multimedia and telecommunications solutions, with a determined focus on innovation, advanced technologies and digitalization. For example, we are already investing in Edge-to-cloud ecosystems to offer our customers greater flexibility and scalability. In addition, we are aligning ourselves with the evolution of our industry, where the adoption of new standards, security and the growing demand for enhanced and immersive experiences play a crucial role. Our vision is to anticipate these trends, developing solutions that not only respond to current needs, but also adapt to future market challenges.

The hospitality sector, in particular, is a potential customer of special interest. What is the specific offer of Fagor Multimedia Solutions for them?
Our offering for the hospitality sector, which includes hotels, residences, hospitals and the like, is comprehensive and includes infrastructure for content reception and distribution, advanced connectivity and interactive multimedia solutions. For example, we help hotels integrate services such as high-quality TV from different sources, Chromecasting so that guests can stream their own content, and fast and secure data networks. In addition, we provide data management and analysis tools to optimize operations. We offer close support and customizable solutions that enhance the customer experience and increase business efficiency.
